'Sinister Symphony'

forLexus

The supercar launch heard round the world.

Launch, Social OLV, Microsite

Lexus' initial launch direction for the LFA touted its refined luxury over its' supercar performance. The luxurious 13 million customizable interior trims and caliper colors were pushed in front of the cameras in early PR instead of the pavement shredding, magnesium v10 with an 9000rpm F1 exhaust note.
Unsurprisingly, it was trashed by blogging aficionados hungry for performance specs.

So with the Tokyo Auto Show just weeks out, Attik pitched and shot reveal photo and video collateral on location at Mt Fuji Speedway — literally bouncing the LFA's raw sound off the mountainsides to get the attention of prospective sultans, princes and performance bloggers around the world.

We followed it up by blaring the exhaust note across Twitter with a symphony made from only the exhaust — and when the web wanted more — we shattered engagement with a champagne flute shattering stunt.

Sinister Configurator

Preorder Microsite

We offered enthusiasts a level of ridiculous custom configuration matching only the performance of the car with a configurator microsite — as well as an infographic rich breakdown of the Skunkworks tech.
